As I was browsing some of your previous posts, I read that you were interested (at least at one time) in Vunak's PFS JKD training. While there doesn't exist a PFS school in the LA area that also offers MMA training (which is absolutely critical for street fighting-- you must spar full contact with MMA guys), I do belong to a newly opened PFS-only school (www.counterviolence.com). The school is run by two Full/CEI instructors who are part of Paul's core PFS group. This is the PFS family, if you will. They are up to date on all their stuff, come from different backgrounds (one is more Silat/Kali, the other has a background in CMA) but both have good street sense. The only thing lacking is a Muay Thai class, though they do include some conditioning.
