Began training in kung fu and kickboxing about 7 years ago
when i was receiving dialysis treatment and needed something to keep me positive whilst waiting for a kidney transplant.Actually competed for 2-3 years but once i had my transplant that was no longer advisable,although I still spar on a weekly basis in class.I am fortunate to be training under a 5th degree black sash and 3 time world champion who is able to get you to give of your very best even when you think you have nothing left to give,he manages to squeeze that extra bit out of you.
I have had many positive experiences in my short time of training,and like many people quickly found out that politics is never less than RIFE.Am expecting/hoping to take my black sash this year after which I fully anticipate that the training will become even more intense at the hands of my sadist of an instructor ha ha! Still 'I was extremely chuffed and not a little astounded at the annual christmas dinner and award ceremony for
