- Started training with Goju Kai in Tasmainia at the age of 15 (23 years ago). I have also trained under Sensei Paul Starling in Sydney & all my gradings were done under Shihan Tino Cebrano. Have competed in 3 FAKO tornaments in Tasmania with my best result a third place in open Kumite.
Started training with Shotokan a year ago as Goju Kai is not available in Townsville.
