- In Moscow, I trained in sambo since I was 6. Moved to Africa where I took judo in high school as I couldn't find any sambo schools there.
When I came to America I studied Enshin karate in Denver as an uchi deshi with kancho Joko Ninomya for 2 years.
After I left I've trained in kickboxing for about 15 years. I competed in some local tournaments and such but I lost more often than I won. My last fight was in the Beasts of the Easts tournament in 2007 in Atlantic city which I lost badly in the first round.
Currently I am training in Jiu jitsu as often as I can. Which is not very often due a host of newly discovered medical problems.
