Martial Arts Experience:

I studied Shaolin Kung Fu under David and Sharon Soard for 4 months at the Chinese Shaolin Center in Denver back in 2003. That was my first introduction to martial arts and I did not like it very much because this school was 90% stepping through animal forms, and also learning some outdated weapons such as Nunchuku and Bo staff.

So I've been out of Martial Arts entirely for the past 8 years or so until recently I felt like I needed a new and fun way to stay fit and so joined my local Boxing/MMA gym on 3/4/2011. I am mainly focusing on training in Boxing now with a BJJ several times per week as well.
