Martial Arts Experience:

started with Judo at 8. It gave me back problems.
Went over to Zen do Kai at 10, changed to Ju Jitsu at 13-14, KaKusu Ryu round 15 till I left home at 17. Nothing really after then till late 20's, when I started going to all sorts of classes looking for an art I would really Like and want to stay with. Enjoyed bits of systema, bits of Aikido [but it was bad for my knees] and bits of wing tsun.
Really Liked Yang Mian for its elbows, and striking power.(it fixed my knees) Not to keen on its application [no real sparring]{and it was very expensive}. Went to a MMA gym for 6 months, and thought that was great but wanted more sparring and grappling all together. Found a Taiji teacher with superb internal power and Love the training. The core principles that Yang Mian taught me translated across into Taiji perfectly and It comes out well In mma classes [lol the combat aspects not Taiji Forms]. I will do Taiji till I am old. Now I just want somewhere close that has good sparing and gr
