Alright, time to start sparring...

Alright guys, I've been a little distracted for a while now, but I think it's time to get a throw down to actually materialize here. I'm up in Washington visiting family until the 12 of Jan. but after I get back I'm devoting a lot more attention to making this thing happen.

I'm based in Tucson but I'm sure we could meet up in Phoenix if that's where most people are.

Does anyone have a facility that we could use? I'm currently training at Tucson BJJ but I would like to not-have-to ask my instructor to use his facility if I can avoid it.

There are more of us than just this meet-up group. I have lots of friends that train in Tucson and will come to a meet up, but aren't members of B.S.

I'll be checking this board a lot more frequently now and I hope you will too.

One way or another, meet ups are going to happen in Jan 2010.

I'll probably be up for some **** in February, after the semester gets rolling.

As for a meet up place, the Sixth Street Gym's upstairs room might be a possibility during an early Saturday open gym session, though I'm painfully shy in person and would prefer to have a specific day and a decent amount of confirmed attendees before having to attempt to ask about it.

Ok sounds good. I'm waiting for a friend to get back from Mexico before we pick an exact date. But this is good news.
