I have noticed that the skin on the tops of my hands are really dry and scaly. Is this a common side effect or should I throw down on some lotion?
The skin on my hands gets bruised up sometimes, but the jow actually makes it feel pretty nice and soft. Are you using jow after the striking as well as before and leaving it on for a little while?
Yeah, I'm putting it on before and after and then leaving it on for about 20 minutes. I haven't had any bruising, but I don't bruise very easily. Just dry looking skin.
Some people can see dry skin as the liniment can dry out the upper dermis.
I have never had this issue.
You can always moisturize if it bothers you.
OK, thanks. I didn't want to throw any other stuff into the mix until I heard it was ok. Thanks again.
Coconut oil is good.
Sore hands. I think its from gripping so hard during BJJ practice. Trying to take it easy anyway and only train once per day.
it called harden the body i punch brick walls an trees kick them knee's elbows all add in push up's on concrete finger tips to full fist up side down holds on a metal plate it hardens the bones by causing tiny or large fractions depending on you body is for the time of it getting well or hurting i also punch metal to harden the bones weak bone or chin legs will end a fight fast or not being good at both stand up an ground game it not the size that matter its how much heart honor an what you fight for that counts fighting for good or bad i am not much of a starter am i lol
hitting metal and all the other things you mentioned are going to cause serious damage to you.
stop before you get hurt.
Hand care question: My finger joints have been sore from gripping gi's in jiu jitsu. At what point should I take a day off? When should I just push through any pain? I am not doing any actual finger training.
