Fellow group members (thanks for indulging a noob and joining), I read the merged thread on iron palm, and realize that this kind of training has anecdotal but not scientific evidence. I can live with that and don't really care. However, if I am going to bother training I plan to keep a log just for the purposes of motivation (and feeding my narcissism), I might as well track progress or outcomes if it's possible without hurting myself or going to too much effort. If anyone has an idea of what they think would be interesting to see change over time as I work Sifu Dugas' system, please post here and maybe we can make me into a little case study. In the intersts of self disclosure: I think that I CAN stick to the training for a year without missing too many days. I do NOT plan to abstain from alcohol for the first hundred days. A guy's gotta live life.
It occured to me that posting videos of impressive breaks could be one form of evidence. However, it also occurs to me that I don't really want to do a "before" version of that where I smash my poor soft hands onto a piece of concrete.
