That's cool, I respect your choice since you respect mine.
That's a commendable attitude. I'm not sure how it would be possible to reconcile Science with Faith, outside of adopting a "God of the Gaps" approach, and that can't be healthy for one's understanding of reality.
But I don't begrudge anyone their beliefs as long as they show the same respect for my lack thereof! :)
I like to respond to an old comment you made in 2005:
"Science only attempts to understand everything that humanity is capable of understanding. It is our single greatest tool for knowing the world around us. "God" is irrelevant to Science. If there were a god/creator, it would have fully intended us to seek out a rational understanding of the universe having given us the gift of reason in the first place."
Well, I'm a muslim and the way I was brought up, my faith in a way encourages scientific studies. Prophet Muhammed once said, "it's better to seek knowledge for one hour than to pray for 70 years".
