i just saw your post about hanke's soo bahk do studio. i train in soo bahk do and know that some dojangs and masters don't teach that well. but what i can tell is that hanke is pretty high up the soo bahk do food chain. he's old now but i've seen him do demos and his technique is still decent. he has younger instructors like master lockwood who i've seen spar and do forms demo--he's very good.
i recommend you stick around for a month and as you said it's only $65. students and masters are all different in training and regimen. hopefully you'll be able to find some dedicated students who will spar contact with you. that's what i was able to do.
