No.

It's not wrong.

It is however, ironic. This was one of the few non-lethal bullfights out there.

The region this took place is is famous for putting the bull in the ring with unarmed people and basically goading the animal to charge. The show is about agility. People getting the **** out of the way when Ferdinand comes calling.

The bull is rarely killed.

Now I want to see this same thing get repeated at one to the shows where they were planning to kill the bull.

I watched the report on Spanish news yesterday. They showed a few videos of where this has happened before. It seems to be a fairly common occurance. This particular animal weighed 500 kilos according to the report, and apparently has the agility of a cat... a 500 kilo cat with a couple of spears attatched to its head.

Someone missed a golden opportunity here. If, while everyone else was fleeing madly, one lone man dove headfirst towards the bull with fury in his eyes and a scream of blood and glory, he would have been a hero of men forever and ever.

no, i was not hoping that any of those people would get hurt.

I'm with you on this. It was shown on the BBC and my sympathy was with the Bull. Poor chap. They chopped him up afterwards. Shame.
