Hardly newsworthy in my opinion... The article clearly states that the effort required was merely superhuman, and this man was a fucking Gurkha.

Just an average day for a Gurkha

My favourite Gurkha story comes from the Falklands war. The British troops were at the time equipped with semi-automatic rifles and badly made boots.

Therefore, whenever possible they would take the boots and automatic rifles off dead Argentine soldiers.

The Gurkhas had a policy of sneaking into camps in the middle of the night and identifying sleeping soldiers by feeling the soles of their boots.

British made boots? Friendly.

Argentine boots? Out with the Kukri and off with their head.

Suffice it to say, when this became common knowledge amongst British squaddies, the practice of removing boots from the Argentine dead faded out fast.

Gurkha troops would know the location of other British units.
If they were attacking a camp the first thing they do would be take out the sentries, which they would not because they would see they were Brits.

Nice story, and, I met some Gurkhas as a Marine, I admired them. To the writer: the USA does not have a Congressional Medal of Honor, we only have a Medal of Honor. Congress is not in the official name, and sadly, has no honor themselves. If they did, they would perform as well as the military of the USA.

So the gurkha is in trouble for offending Muslim culture...
For beheading a terrorist? Seems logical that only extremists would take offense. Me personally, when I see fundamentalist of my religion gone (not necessarily dead) I'm fairly happy.

He had had enough when the robbers stripped an 18-year-old girl sitting next to him and tried to rape her right in front of her parents. He then took out his khukuri and took on the robbers.

40 men armed with knives, swords and guns stormed the train and began robbing the passengers.
Bishnu kept his peace while the gang snatched cell phones, jewelry and cash from other riders. But then, the thugs grabbed the 18 year-old girl sitting next to him and forcefully stripped her naked. Before the bandits could rape the poor girl in front of her helpless parents, Bishnu decided he had enough.
"The girl cried for help, saying ´You are a soldier, please save a sister´," Shrestha recalled. "I prevented her from being raped, thinking of her as my own sister."
Here's the part of the story that makes you cheer. He pulls out a kukri (i.e. a knife) and proceeds to kill 3 of them, injure 8 of them, and causes the rest to flee. During the battle, he suffered a severe knife injury to his left hand, from which he's now recovered.
