Yes, we do it every few months. Next one will most likely be July.

Aiee, I dunno if I'll get in in time. Do you guys ship international? (IE, Australia?)

I know what you mean...
Who would've thought that making does meet would be this tough... **** gets harder, not easier.

Steve,
What is the difference between sambo shoes and wrestling shoes?

We do ship international, but I have to calculate the shipping seperately for you.

Sambo shoes have a leather sole, not rubber.

I will wait for weeks end to finalize the order in case we have any last minute purchases.

wow, i did not know that!
what kind of difference does it make, traction-wise?
i read elsewhere that knee injury prevention is better, as the foot doesn't get caught up on the mat.
and would anyone know if sambo shoes would be legal in wrestling?

Sambo shoes are legal in wrestling. The difference traction wise is that Sambo shoes offer much less grip on the mat - hence the lower incidence of knee injuries as a result.

Yes, less grip, so feet get stuck less. Also depends on what wats you are on. On wrestling mats, I really like them. Good traction, I can feel the floor with my feet better (kind of like being bare foot). On tatami, I find sambo shoes more slick...especially old tatami.

Oh, and Mr Miyagi, I ordered a pair from Steve like two years ago, and they're still going strong. I'm on the gold coast (I recall you're with Matt Cooper's gym up in Brissy, yeah?), so I know the postage is very reasonable. It was cheaper to order them from Steve including postage, than it would have been to drive down to Rebel Sports and buy a pair of wrestling shoes over the counter.

Having said that wrestling shoes are ridiculously priced here.

These shoes are better than the ones we used to stock too!

Oh really?

Make sure you post a while before the next batch, as I'm quite likely to order a few pairs for my club mates.

Oh awesome, thanks for the info, matey.

Aye, I'm up in Brissy with Coops. That sounds great. I think I'll have to wait till next round, but I'll defiinitely be in next order, and I think some guys from the club will be too, so I'll be sure to let them know to try and get some more orders in for you, Steve.

I've noticed how expensive they are here, it's pretty intense! And these seems like an awesome option.
