It's actually a very interesting fight.
The TKD dude uses a side-ways stance and fires off a lot side kicks. That is my favorite style of fighting. I wish I had more range of motion to kick like he does. The muay thai guy isn't used to side kicks or front leg kicks in general. TKD dude does an excellent job of keeping his hands down and this totally neutralizes the muay thai guy's game.
Really good fight by both fighters.

pretty good fight. Its not about which style you do but how well you train.

Yeah, it looked like a really good TKD guy against a so-so Muay Tai guy.
I'd be interested in seeing a match between men of the same caliber in their arts.
Or is that what we just watched?
(To me though, it appeared that the TKD guy was way more on top of his game, as far as timing, delivery, and follow through. He also seems to react less to being hit, and was able to retaliate faster. The Muay Tai guy kept flinching and running away.)

The TKD guy kept his hands down the entire time and I just kept waiting for the MT guy to capitalize on it. Guy didn't even know how to clinch up.

He set up his backs kicks really well. I love back kick.
He could sneak in the side kick through the arms and hit the body. So beautiful. Side kick is so underrated.
He does such a good job of keeping his hands down too. He's basically immune to forearm injury.
Good work TKD guy!!!!!!

That was a suprise. The TKD guy handled himself "ok" with the hands...he had power but wild swinging backfists or just wild swinging/spinning. Seems like he was bigger than the Muay Thai guy. His definitely had a greater variety of kicks and the sideways stance and sidekicks seemed to do well for him.I always thought that should be used more in UFC/MMA.
Overall good video.
All i'm saying is that if someone was striking like that tkd guy in mma, everyone would be calling him sloppy.

The problem is the Muay Thai fighter is not very good.
was there a no clinch rule? I realize it can be hard to close with a kicker in side stance, but it looks like he had ample opportunity, hell the TKDer got a headlock on the MT guy.
What happened to good threads?

This is what usually happens when the Muay Thai fighter isn't shitty:

The TKD dude uses TKD similar to how I do. He even has the same habbits like shaking his front leg.
Here's a vid of me doing TKD. My TKD looks sort of like his, I just suck more.
