What, exactly, do they think we are? A training collective?
LOL, I just reread that. Damn, yeah. Aren't you training the secret art of Bull Chi Do, or short BCD. Some ppl call it
BCD/IDIOTPROOF
I am a student...

Maybe a way to handle this is to have a forum/article section for challenges. If we find a challenge of this sort, we offer to send a representative (partially or full subsidized from our little fund) to take the challenge. What ever happens from there we document.
If they back down and retract the challenge, we post that. If we go there and kick ass, we post that. If we go there and get our ass kicked, we post that.
Have mods, respected members, or witnessess post detailed unbiased accounts of what happened, from either seeing it on video or in person. What did each fighter do right? What did each fighter do wrong? What would have changed the outcome?
Offer the people offering the challenge the opportunity to state their fighting theories, game plan for the fight, and their take on what happened.
It wouldn't even have to be a negative thing. We could tell the people posing the challenge that it could lead to an endorsement of their school. We could have a Hall of Fame for those that accepted the challenge and represented themselves well, win or lose.
That's a good idea. I'm already working on putting together a "Busted" section for the website. But this forum is meant specifically for the purposes of outing frauds, so I don't think we'll create another.
Phrost - please use my donated money for the site in general - next time you guys need to take up a collection for another 'invitation' I will just donate again.
So, where do things stand now?
Um - where did the 'Official Statement' retracting Perkins challenge go over on Attack Proof?
It was a great thread - and luckily I have a full copy in .pdf format :-) as I do every thread mentioning Bullshido on their site just in case they back track.
I hope the threads they participated in on this site have been saved - it's too easy for them to come delete all their posts like we have seen in the past

OMG, this was probably the final steps of bullshido.com becoming the JREF och martial arts... witch is great!!!
JREF = James Randi Educational Foundation
ME = major lurker
Phrost,
I think a busted section, with a story summary, related threads, and various links to the pertinent websites would be a great idea. It provides a tangible timeline and a list of concrete accomplishments that can be listed in one place and helps remind people of how powerful the Bullshido site really is. While I am not the best writer here, I would volunteer my time to try and create some of the summaries.
Hmm I hope someone really does... Perkins's CAPSLOCK messages were really lame, but please give him some address so everyone can see what he wants to say.

I gave them my email what more do they want?

This almost sounds like a prelude to a legal threat. Anyone else think so?
Not that they would have any grounds for something like that, but it's been tried before.
Tell them to send any legal threats to me please. I have not had a good laugh today.

I was thinking they are up to something...perhaps we should beat them to the punch so to speak...
I AM OMEGA...
I also think that it looks like preparations for legal action.
I would think that, as of right now, we should not volonteer Omega's personal information to this guy, as a sefeguard against a probable lawsuit. I would also propose that in the event of such lawsuit, the money donated towards the travel fund be used for Omega's legal expenses. I, for one, would be willing to donate more in the case of such problems.
Even despite the fact that there are no aparent grounds for legal action, and I am NOT a lawer so I do not pretend to understand all the nuances, it takes next to nothing to file a frivolous suit, and cause all sorts of annoyances.
