FYI, I've tried to contact the original thread starter to see if there's been any further happenings regarding Lee.

Just received word back from Ross:

With regards to Lothar he has an advertisement in the phone book close to the JKA name, http://www.yellowpages.com.au/bi/japanese-karate--do-nq-garbutt-east-qld-5447227.html

I was also informed by a friend that there was a sign at the Ayr showgrounds (about an hour south from here) advertising karate. I checked it out, it was Lothar's with the SKIF & Kancho Kanazawa's name on it. I promptly contacted the showgrounds & had it removed.

Apart from that I don't think he has managed to get a dojo going as I haven't heard anything about him. I have tried to call his new phone number a few times posing as a prospective student but he doesn't answer his phone.

He's still fighting the good fight.

Just a note that the name of the TV programme that outed Lee is A Current Affair. That report represented a high point in their career.

In addition to the correction posted by Nicko1, please also take note that the word "reporter" has been incorrectly spelled as "reported" in the paragraphs dealing with the ACA investigation.
