I got the distinct feeling Shannon Lee and her mother were whoring/milking Lee's image and legacy for all they could get.

He didn't plagiarize, publishers plagiarized for him. He borrowed lots of his personal philosophy from others and his personal essays detailing that philosophy were published posthumously.
