Yeah, that works. I've found that "sparring" gets interpreted pretty widely. Some guys go on a headhunting brawl-a-thon while others stay outside the whole time trying to avoid any contact at all.
Yes, medium pace and light contact is cool.
Also, if anyone wants to divide the ranges. i.e. work stand up for a bit, then transition from stand up to clinch, then from clinch to ground. I find it helps to spend some time in each range rather than charging through.

I was just clarifying and being a bit of a twat all at once. Your inclusion of a video was actually a good precaution.
I have pretty much no experience in striking but I have done bjj for about a year. I'm down for whatever though. I'm 5'6" and sitting at 195lbs...damn that hurt just typing it. Anyways I'll make sure to bring whatever gear I need. Can anyone send me a pm of everything I'll need to participate in all events?
There aren't any "events."
No matter how we come off on the forum this isn't going to be the special olympics.
Unless Squerli shows up.
Bring whatever equipment you need to keep both you and your training partner relatively safe and that will satisfy the requirements of whatever training you intend to engage in.
There aren't any requirements.

Yeah sorry I didn't know how to word it so I just used "events."

I might could do the 14th. I have gigs on the 4th, 5th, 6th, so it's good you're doing that weekend...
I'll talk to T, and we might get the Boston convoy heading down. Fire wheels baby!

It'd be great to see you guys. Try to get War Wheel and his boy in on it too.
