Who gives a ****? Has Silva been tested? never. People into the vaseline controversy are a little too much into UFC. I love UFC for learning training techniques from world class fighters and for seeing good fighters fight. Anything else reminds me of WWF fake wrestling drama, which perhaps some UFC fans are also into.

If you're not a real aggressive fighter, it's difficult to put away someone who's scared and doesn't want to engage. All Silva needs to be an exciting fighter is someone who is confident enough to face him, and that's the one thing he can't seem to get right now. I really don't think he deserves the blame for that.

Maybe it is just because of the piss-poor money the UFC pays compared to boxing. Anderson is getting old and looking to retire and would possibly earn more money from a couple of boxing matches than his next ten UFC fights. If I was looking to wind up my career I would rather do the last fight or two for big money.

The UFCs refusal to let anyone do anything is crap. Not allowing Tito to use his own photo of him wearing a UFC belt in his book is a classic example. They are arseholes to the fighters and the sooner their monopoly over the sport is broken the better.

I mean, i'm all for fighters fighting smart, and being somewhat cautious, but untill he started this ridiculous tactic, he'd never even had a fight go to the third round before. So why suddenly 5 rounds of pointless dancing, and a clearly lackluster performance, instead of a devastating shorter performance?

I think the fact that the crowd booed Silva says alot about the type of fans the UFC has these days.

this. i've already complained about the trendiness of mma in vancouver, and watching the fight last weekend just solidified that for me. bunch of drunken morons who just want to see someone get kicked in the head. they don't give a **** about technique, tactics, strategy, or endurance. they just want to see blood.
