It is possible. He trained out of a gym located in Lexington and I think I read in a profile somewhere that he was from Barbour County...
Edit: I meant Bourbon County and his Myspace profile says he's from Paris, KY

Rob Browning. Christ, his family tree must look like a barrel.

Frank whatshisface was a dick too. He seems to be buying into that whole "stand and bang is the man's game" bullshit that seems to be becoming more popular in MMA of late, and his reaction after having his opponent slam himself on his head, as if he threw some unstoppable punch was bullshit too. I hope he loses his next fight, and from what I saw in that fight, he probably will.

The browning boys do make us Kentucky folks look bad. Last season I was really all about Junie. I had been to 4 seasons before and met Junie a time or too at Kentucky Fighting Challenge fights and he always seemed pretty cool. Then he got on TV and made us all look like asses.

Samuel, if he lives in Paris, Ky he is less than an hour from Maysville. That said I know of him having no connection to Maysville, not because I am Junie expert, but I live in and now own a gym in, Maysville and have never heard anyone mention him being connected to Maysville. That being said it is not immpossinble to have a some relation, this is Ky afterall, I often learn of assorted different kinfolk that I have never heard of before. There are quite a few large and looping family trees among families who have been in this area since the early 1800's (such as us) and if you get started digging you can find all manner 5th and further away cousins.

Samuel, are you related to the Brownings that used to own Browning Manufacturing before they sold to Emerson Power Transmisions?

Due to school I normally have to wait till the weekend to watch the new episodes. So I appreciate you posting this now. The episodes have been great. Happy to see Browning go. I was truly happy when the British guys admitted they believed the stereotype of most Americans and with the exception of Browning they were wrong. I liked that. Seemed liked everyone gelled decently well. I truly enjoy this show. I own every season. I like this fight to get on the show part, due to it eliminate those fucking bitches who cant make weight early. Which was the main annoyance for me in the past.

Yes, my grandfather on my dad's side was born in Mayville in 1900 or 1901, and went off to Harvard, later resettling in New York and Connecticut. The plant was sold to Emerson in the 1960s I believe when the last browning who manged it looked around the family and decided that none of the males had the required brains and business accument necessary to run a competitive business, so he sold out to the best run company he could find who would pay him a good price. Not turning the business over to some idiot nephew was his greatest gift to Maysville :)
