According to our buddy J Andrew Yount, Din Thomas has signed a three fight deal with Affliction.
No debut date or opponents have been discussed yet as far as I know, but as a fan of Din’s this is great news, because there are a number of good match-ups available at both 145 and 155 if he chooses to move back up.

Like who? Affliction have only ever had three featherweight matches and no lightweight matches at all, and just about every other decent featherweight that's not already signed by WEC is locked up in the DREAM and Sengoku FW GP for pretty much the rest of the year.

Dan Lauzon vs. Horidiki (sp?) was supposed to be at 155

He should really go to WEC or DREAM.

Perhaps its just that they are building that weight class. Affliction is new and you have to build. Perhaps some new blood will show up. Every lightweight wouldn't get to fight if there is only the Zuffa guys (as much as I like them) for mainstream exposure. I'm looking forward to more Affliction events and Strikeforces free tv debut. New blood has to break in somewhere.
