I still don't see it. I see entering a clinch after the open hand block to the sides (followed by elbow strike) and before the backfist to the front (or in other words, after the hook punch/nukite and step).

A) Where do you put the headbutts there? My bunkai for those is to follow the clinch with an elbow in both cases, then follow up with a hammerlock in the first case and a backfist and throw in the second.

B) How do you demonstrate the headbutt during presentation of the solo kata? Ie, do you move your head sharply forward during the kata?


Headbutting is okuden. You're not going to see people jerking their heads like chickens with cerebral palsy to represent headbutts.

If you can't headbutt when entering the clinch, you need to work on your clinch entries.
Nowhere does he say, in a specific form you practice Headbutting.
I could be wrong but, that is how it read to me.
