Wasnt sure where to post this, but a freind of mine is looking for somewhere to train in philly, could be MMA, striking, grappling, whatever. (Striking is the coolest though.)

The ISKF (shotokan karate) main dojo is in Philly, in a not very good neighborhood.

Its also fantastically cheap.

The place in Philly I'm most familiar with is Balance, which is pretty high quality. I believe Gumby trains in Philly and is a purple belt; he'd be good to ask.
