if you really are a Lieutenant, then I'd take your posts differently...otherwise you come off a bit presumptuous.
I'm about as perfect as FEMA circa 2006. I just couldn't pass on the dig. Don't be such a soreass!

go ahead you tired fucker! Follow my posts and point out imperfections.
You have absolutely no sense of humor, that is more of a threat to your long-term well being than any paranoia you have over being found out.

I'm so angry, I'm going out to commit a heinous crime. When they come for me I will say it was all Lt. Foxguitar's fault. Then I will contact the ACLU.

I love the bay area man , closer to frisco or Oakland ?
I wish I could afford to move there , I love the golden gate in the morning as it comes out of the morning fog.

Its the same as anybody here saying there Black belts in this or that.
They also do confirmation of certain belts here - see the list of Profile Tags (http://www.bullshido.org/Category:Bullshido_Profile_Tags).
Look... I'm not out to get you, and I don't mean to pressure you into anything. I'm just going to lay two things down for you, and you can take them or leave them as you see fit.
1) The guys and gals who run this site may or may not be the kind of people you'd invite to your birthday party, but everything I've seen suggests that they take their honour very seriously. If you really piss them off, so long as you haven't broken any laws, the worst thing I can see happening is you getting banned or challenged to a fair fight that you can opt to decline. You can at least ask what's involved with getting your LEO status verified, and if it smells fishy, opt out at that point.
2) It seems masochistic for someone to stick around and fight with people they don't know, respect, or care about. I personally think these boards have a lot to offer, but if you're not getting anything out of them but aggravation, life has more to offer you than this.

Already done and explained. He was even told who to contact and what would be done with the information.
Only the Admin (Wolf, Phrost, JKDCHick, Tom Kagan, and a few others) you contact gets the information, the tag button is flipped, and that is it.
As far as I have seen no one else has access to the information.

Just out of my own curiosity, is there anyone in particular on staff who actually does the checks, or is it anyone in that list?

1) point 1 well taken
2) point 2 Im not really fighting with these dudes . Im being just as much as a asshole as they are , Im not taking this too seriously , and unless Im getting paid to fight or have to as part of my job or its a tournament , im not fighting anybody .
And when it comes down to it , what does internet banter really mean , The world is such a fucked up place with bombs going off killing scores , tragedies here and there, a little cyber warfare is a respite .
And truth is I think the people kinda can figure out im legit, the same way I can tell with or what tags if they are legit in their things.
Besides after all this and still claimed it Id be one fucked up individual unit unit huh , and like I said if I was going to pass my self as something it be something cooler than a cop , Police work is boring man , its not like TV its hours of boredom moments of sheer terror .
But mostly its service orientated taking reports and the typical yada yada bullshit , sure we go on hot calls but its not all the time .

Because I rather you think im lying , and what for to appease you , I don't think so , I think if theres any cops on this forum , they know , You don't need to know unless you come to my juridiction and commit a crime and get hooked and booked , and when you get bought into the pct , Ill be the smiling Lieutenant who will log your ass in and decide if its a bailable offense how much , in your case the MAX .
Look , im not proving **** to you , Besides like you said , you aren't going to show respect anyway , so there you go .
Its a sick and twisted "teasing your little brother to the point he has a complex" kind of respect, but if you play the game correctly, you'll actually get respect... and even though its really twisted, by the time you get that respect you've long ago learned to laugh it off when someone calls you a "butthurt ninjer fag" or something.
Or you can just be me and make no claims to anything and be relatively unknown. :toothy4:
EDIT: Oh yeah. I generally don't get in real fights. Last time I got into one a friend and I were walking home from the bar when about six or eight guys attacked us just for the Hell of it. All I could really think to do in that situation was to keep my hands up, keep my footing solid, and act like I was on the defensive end of a boxing match with three opponents. Luckily, the only thing I got from all the pummeling was a large bruise on my tricep that likely would've likely done something fierce to my jaw had I not been trained to keep my hands up while fighting.
The bastards ripped my shirt, too.
I've had to use my grappling knowledge quite a few times as an MP in the Army. The closest to an "Oh ****" moment was when I was on patrol called out to a domestic dispute. A special forces guy was going ape **** on his wife and we rolled around in small kitchen with him going after my .45 (That probably dates my age right there LOL). I put him out with a rear naked choke or figure four as we called it while lying on my right side to keep him from grabbing my pistol. The whole time his damned wife was yelling at me not to hurt him...
I have been a bouncer and a cab driver so I feel I'm fortunate to have the grappling knowledge I do.
The funny thing is that I have never struck someone outside of the gym while sparring. It's always been grappling moves that I have used to restrain people with or with throws that I pull out of my ass. Well not out of my ass, I wrestled in high school and took Judo lessons, but usually it's just putting people off balance and tossing them to the ground with foot sweeps or tossing them over my hip. Which isn't that hard when someone has been drinking.

Honestly, Wolf handles them the most now. I think Phrost, Wolf and JKDChick are it. I always think of Tom but staff rarely has that power.
That way there are only 3 specific people getting that information not 10-12.

Its totally different when you have a duty of care for the people you are fighting isnt it?
I can relate to what you have said.
Striking is for the no choice/ambushed one step behind self defence situation, more than the dealing with drunken clients in a security/police setting?
There is a huge privacy and safety issue ,I dont need any wackos knowing where I work .I think few locals have narrowed it down to one of two Departments.
The huge privacy and safety issue?
As Staff, I know all there is to know about what you've posted privately and publicly on this forum (PMs excluded). If I wanted to let your IP/email out to all those that might recognize you from your posting style (the only way that I can see from your bullshit arguments that a tag would instantly make you known to "wackos"), that would be no problem. Point being, we don't **** around like that and take this forum VERY SERIOUSLY when it comes to this kind of thing.
Perhaps you are thinking that having an LEO tag means that it would list where you work, who you are, etc. That is not the case. It is just a little tag that says "Hey, douche bags: This guy is really a LEO, he knows what he's talking about." If someone were to click on the tag (as I'm sure you have for the other LEOs here, right?) it only goes to a page that defines the tag as being a confirmed LEO, THAT IS ALL.

I can't speak for him, but I read it as being a concern with the staff getting the personal information required to do the verification. Getting a name from an IP is no mean feat.
