Just wondering if anybody has trained at the Willington Karate Club in CT. On their site (http://www.willingtonkarateclub.org/) they say they are primarily kyokushin but have a goju influence, any time a dojo practices a mix of two similar styles makes me suspicious and also they don't seem to be affiliated with any organisation (could be good or bad!).


I am moving to the area soon and of course am planning to have a look at the place but if anyone could give me a heads up that would be great.

There are a few, but not many, Kyokushin schools in CT. If you can make it to Cromwell, go to Cromwell. The teacher there was a live in student of Mas Oyama's for 3 years. He is really hardcore. The name of the school is Japanese Karate inc.

Thanks for the info. Its a bit of a drive but from what I have read about the place it sounds like it'll be well worth it.
