Hi, I saw this -
YouTube - charlene's drunken fist (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJAu-WxCfcM)
And I jumped and said oh my god I want to go and learn that (shits and giggles).

Turns out they teach it here. It seems less expensive than anything else I've seen online but still a bit pricey. I figured for a month holiday in Hong Kong it could be fun but...I dunno...from Luxembourg to Hong Kong to find out is a bit of a risk!!!

I would not recommend learning forms that do not have real speed and power in them. Not that this form is bad, its just it is done by someone who is not a fighter and you can tell from the way that the form has no power and speed behind the stances. This looks like bad Wushu forms training.
edit: looks like they train some decent stuff at the school... but what you will get is different. (http://www.laufamilyhunggar.com/training.htm)

KWOK SUET
We teach kwok Suet, which was taught to the ancient chinese armies. Kwok Suet is real kung fu fighting Opposed to Wu Shu, which is a performance art Shaolin teach Wu Shu - lot of the monks there are not real monks, only Wu Shu performers dressed up as monks to make money for the govt At Shaolin some of the real monks do know Kung Fu but do not teach, others there to pray.
The fake monks or Wu Shu performers (Jet Li is a Wu Shu performer), dress like monks to teach SHAOLIN WUSHU.

I would love to go, just to meet some of the old school stars. No, I wouldn't go to learn a "historical set."
Lau Ka Yung:
Got his ass beat in one of my Favorite Hwang Jang Lee kick fest movies.

Guoshu is Mandarin.
Mosuet is Cantonese.
Lau Kar Leung is the Chinese Jesus.
Any questions?

Can you change the title of my thread in your forum?
Oh yes, don't doubt the skill of Uncle or the teaching if you are a student regardless of, if it is Wushu or Traditional.
I wouldn't go to learn a single set. If I could stay for a good length of time, I'd train there in a heart beat.
I wouldn't go to learn that form in the first video, that's for sure.
Go, and learn what their bread and butter is: Hung Gar.
That's my opinion.
Well, now that I understand you have no interest in Hung Gar, and only care to learn this one form:
While I personally wouldn't do it, I'm sure you should, because I'm certain it would make you happy, and you'd get very good instruction/training out of your experience.
Have fun.
Thank you :) I think that too often people view martial arts like wushu too much from a practical point of view and not from a pleasure-giving perspective :)
