Watching this UFC I found myself become really asnnoyed at the announcers. Everytime I heard the word elusive I wanted to bash my head into the tv. It was annoying enough them callling Machida elusive like 20 times then they started calling other fighters elusive.
I can't stand listening to Rogan and Goldberg. I miss Bas and Ronallo.

Well as long as Rogan nailed it on the head as he reminded us how much BJ Penn fights like a snake.

I would rather have my urethra eaten out by tiny rabid mice covered in needles than listen to that pretentious assclown Ronallo.

I love Rogan and also love when he checks Goldberg for saying something stupid

So is Rogan the color commentary guy or the lead announcer? I always thought that the lead is supposed to have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the sport and be able to call out strategy and plays. Goldberg seems to lack in that area, imo at any rate, and Rogan seems to to pick up the slack in that department.

Rogan isn't that bad, just it would be nice if he increased his vocabulary a bit so he doesn't repeat the same words over and over.

All of us watching the fight said the same thing. Towards the end we starting making it into a drinking game--take a shot every time he says 'elusive'.

I like Joe but he could have benefited from a thesaurus.

Yeah, I liked it better when ke?po was the announcer.

They try to sell the fights a bit too much, but hey its what you gotta do. I think they were just slightly dumbfounded in the Machida fight, hence saying he's elusive 20 times. Fights pretty much speak for themselves, they really don't need to say much. They need Jim Ross.

We all started mocking Joe when he mentioned Tito's awsome jiu jitsu game (which he has done in every Tito fight he has ever announced.) Needless to say, we shut up fast when Ortiz went for that armbar. He is still better than that boxing guy, the Colonel, that Bodog hired.

Guy in top guard is throwing pitty pat hammerfists at bottom guy.
