"In reality Hatsumi has taken all his "proof" to the Ko-ryu council 3 TIMES and they rejected it 3 TIMES"
I am trying to locate an offsite resource for this, hopefully an article in English.
Anyone know a resource in English that I can find out more about this?

Why do you write to them directly, state your reasons for wanting to know their reasons for rejection and see what happens

You should also attempt to get your hand on a copy of the Bugei Ryuha Daijiten (and learn to read Nihongo)

Anyone know a resource in English that I can find out more about this? did youtry to google this? i remeber finding an article about this a while ago, it has something to do with Hatsumi not being able to show enough proof confirming his claims. I believe the counsel does something like carbon dating the scrolls Hatsumi has. They also couldn't authenticate Takamasu's teachers. Try PM ing Plasma. He seems to have a good deal of information about these matters. Once again My info may be completely wrong so the best way is to search or it. If i ind something i'll post.

I wouldn't know how to get a hold of them. Also I don't speak Japanese so would they even respond to me?
Would you know where I can find their email address?

I was actually hoping Plasma would respond to this thread, it was him who posted the quote in the opening post. It's true I could've PMed Plasma but I thought I would make a thread out of it since I could find out more this way. Though it may prove pointless to have done so, I guess I'll see.
and yes I've googled it, I'm currently looking on page 22 of the results given.

Journal of Asian Martial Arts must have looked into this at one point. I mean they done articles on pretty much every other Koryu.
Could try contacting them. They might be able to point you in the right direction.
I should have prefaced the above by stating I have not looked at the Journal in quite some time so i really can't vouch for it aside that it exists. . .

Let me have a dig around for some contact details unless Plasma get bact to you first.
I believe the man to contact would be Donn Draeger. I was once told that he threatened to leave with a bunch of members if Hatsumi was admitted.

That might require a Ouija Board ...

That's more Web-mythology then documented fact. It's been in circulation for years but the only references that anyone ever seems to offer is annecdotal forum posting on E-Budo or MAP rather then any verification that the event actually took place.
One of the problems with all this was explained to me not long ago.
Apparently it's very hard to find out information about a claim that has been rejected as once it's rejected it is regarded as being "non existent" for want of a better term. I don't think there will be a listing for rejections and the reasons why.
All of this is compounded by the fact the the net is full of rumour and BS about this issue. One thing starts out as a mis-heard comment then wings it's way round the net and becomes "fact".
Really I'd say you need contact with people with connections to some of those involved, that really is going to be the only way to get any real info.

lol yeah I thought that!

That would be hard wouldn't it. In penance I will commit :seppuku:
Add a "students of" there and you will get my intention with that post.

Actually I heard it from a Genbukan instructor from back in the original days of the Genbukan. I will ask where he got the information, but he is the most unbias Takamatsu-den source I have.

Plasma, this is an odd question
When you trained in the Bujinkan who did you train under?
My training comes from the Genbukan and a school that left the Genbukan in the 90s and was absorbed into the Bujinkan for a few years after under Charles Daniels (great guy, shitty org). Also I studied here for a few months http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=46716.
