Not at all. I like old people especially the ones that greet me at Walmart.

Unless you are really 103 which I doubt since you used the word Dude, don't judge me when you are the one who is not truthful about your date of birth on your profile

Nice, of course the fact that you're two years older than me (if I remember right), seems to put you in the old man's chair. Aren't your comments quite contradictory to what ATA is supposed to be instilling in you?

I don't recall telling you that I am 105.

Hey genius check your user profile it says you were born in 1905

Wow, irony. Sarcastic 'genius' comment and then the inability to understand that I never really filled out the age box. I bet you think I'm in Scotland and the Philippines too.

You're such a role model for you kid have you a picked out a tower for him to start sniping when he grows up and completely looses it?

If you cannot be honest about your age and where you are from then why should anyone believe that you have any credibility in the martial arts or anything else for that matter. If you don't want anyone to know your true age or whereabouts then you should have left the profile section blank.

I am now done replying to your posts

Wow, that's the best you could come up with. A. I told you my age I'm two years younger than you. Do the math. B. I'm in California, all you had to do is ask. C. If you ever want to tell me to **** off to my face you're more than welcome to try. Everything I said to you is something I'd say to your face. Please tell me you're not a hypocrite.

Now leave the forum with your tail between your legs like the impotent father you are.

*edit: I take that back I believe I'm 8 years younger than you.

I'm tired of seeing them. We've been fortunate enough to have some former instructors come on this forum and tell the truth about the ATA. Could we simply put together a FAQ of ATA and merge all future posts to this one so we don't rehash the same arguments over and over again? Then we can trollshido future threads and send them this link.

I say we just send Omega off to kill all ATA posters via spinning back fist.

Perhaps you would be willing to reply to me, then...

Have you ever sparred outside the ATA? I understand you guys have your own exclusive tournaments. I would suggest coming to some more serious tournaments. Just to make sure that this is where you were coming from, are these vids representative of your organization/the sparring you guys do?

I believe these are red belts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj3awAl1Ges
The title leads me to believe that this is from some grand tournament: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6_xwRSliSY
This is a short clip, supposedly 2nd and 3rd degree women 17-39 y.o.:

And here's one from World's, 2005:

OK, now that you've watched them, answer this: is that a fair approximation of what you people do in sparring? If not, then please find me one.

I think we should have a FAQ put together, since it could eventually get some internet publicity on how shitty the ATA is. Also, it will stop these annoying threads, and give people somewhere to be directed when they ask about the local TKD schools in noobie town.

For every ATA thread that is deleted, twenty posts from that thread will go and start their own thread with a Black Belt Club and camo belts for any poster under the age of 14. For a fee, of course.

I had a couple dudes in my class who were 2nd an 3rd degree Black belts that got busted back down to white belt because they were from ATA

in my Dojang back in Korea. goes to show how much of shitty organization ATA is.

now sometimes there are some ATA "chiefs" who go to Seoul to train......but thats just a marketing business tool for TKD........Politics

thats not unique to Korea. At my college, people would come to the TKD gym class with Black Belts from ATA. They were promptly laughed at and owned by yellow belts.

I fear ATA threads are much like the mythic Hydra

As long as I'm not killed, do as you with. Each ATA school is individually owned and operated, so not everything is the same in every school.

The recent ATA posters (khf, or what ever his screen name is) should back off a little. I've been to Von Schmelling's business seminar (Circle of Success), attended an instructor certification class on the east coast (region 111, the Carolinas and Virgina), and heard about some of Master Clark's programs (MASS and such). There are many ATA schools to avoid, but IMO the east coast should be avoided - ATA-wise - altogether.

That said, if you guys need any help with the FAQ, I am willing to help out.
