I've had these gloves for the last few months, and I have to say I'm as pleased with these as I have been with most all of the CSI products I have. I don't use these as often as my Thai Gloves, but I've used them enough to know how well they're put together and how durable they are. These are the gloves most everyone in my gym uses.

They slip on easily and velcro around the wrist securely. They've got enough padding to allow for relatively safe training without feeling too bulky. I've used these in full MMA sparring sessions, and they haven't posed much trouble when it comes to grappling either. The fingers are free enough to be able to pull off most any move I have in my arsenal once you get used to the extra bulk.

While they're not cheap, I feel they are totally worth the price. They should last you a while, and make for good but safe sparring sessions.

Wait a minute. Those are not the same gloves. The gloves they are referring to are black and are slightly different design. They're down to larges only and I should be getting my shipment in Tuesday.

I use the same gloves, and I really do adore them.
Their only problem is that the bulk makes certain chokes difficult to execute. The figure four guillotine (as opposed to the more common hand-in-hand guillotine), in paricular, I find almost impossible to do when wearing the MMA training gloves.
But all around, they're excellent gloves.

The Max Spar has completely open thumb/palms and even thicker, more shock absorbant padding than this glove if you need something that leaves your hands more free.

The $15 gloves look JUST like the TC ones I got recently. Utter crap. They came apart on the back of the hand between padded sections after maybe... 20 hours. Like 2-3 weeks training.
Plus, they're light, comfortable, hard surface (dig that for ring), minus - craptastic durability.

The ones rated above show 6-7oz (TG 4 - $59.95), the FG2 & FG3 ones 5 oz look nice also. I think you really get what you pay for though. Don't go for the $15's in my book, all 4 pairs I've seen were crap. On the glove codes, TG training glove, FG fight glove (my guess).

A bit of an ask maybe.... would it possible to either have a picture of said gloves or a link to the site showing them in all their glory?

the reason I ask is they sound great, but the CSI site (yes, I found it...eventually :5dunce:) has got a few models advertised as training gloves many in the MMA type style...

A pic sure would help clear things up a bit...

I'm looking to buy a pair of these right now for me BJJ classes. Can you use these for stand-up boxing sparring too? BTW it costs $25 now (still at a discount though).
