Located in the recently renovated Trevose plaza , this gym is no longer able to be mistaken for a hole in the wall. It has been moved to a much larger commercial space and the cage can be seen from the outside. Compared to the surrounding chain dojos, the pricing is ridiculously reasonable (for MUCH better training).
The head instructor, Jim Wing, is a fourth degree black belt in Shaolin Kempo and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Jucão, with consistent competition victories. His son Chris wing also instructs, and has recently made his pro MMA debut. There's also the co-owner, Steve Austin who has a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a brown belt in shaolin kempo and one amateur MMA fight. Recently, the gym has also been having guest instructors such as Chris Liguori, the pro MMA fighter, Larry cureton, a kickboxing champion and UFC veteran and Coach Mike Malinconico, the head coach of Rhino Wresling club in New Jersey.
The BJJ class is an hour long and broken up into conditioning, drilling, technique, then sparring. The kempo class is an hour of technical instruction and drilling with occasional sparring. The women's cardio kickboxing is an hour of conditioning similar to that of the fight team.
The gym is very well equipped with seven different bags, multiple sets of thai pads, medicine balls, kettle bells, swiss balls, as well as the previously mentioned cage. The mat space consists of twenty by forty feet of dollamur camo mats.
