Apparently there's some guy out there who claims to be a "Professor of Survival" amongst other things, and one of you jerks found his website and posted it in (I'm assuming) YMAS for the sake of comedy.

Thanks guys, now he's emailing me. And by "me" I mean "Advertising At Bullshido dot COM". But still. I figured you guys would enjoy reading this. Especially the epic irony of a Professor of Survival feeling his life is in danger because some people on the Internet think might he's full of crap.

Now, I know you jerks have been around long enough to know better than to make threats or post libel here; that kind of crap gets you banned lickety-split. But some people still seem to be under the impression that someone calling their credibility into question somehow is illegal. And you have no idea how many of these things we deal with.

Which reads more like he survived a stay at a really unsanitary Catholic hospital (those attacks during mass are just dangerous, I tell you) than he's out running around with Les Stroud in the woods or preparing for armageddon in Wyoming.

So now that he's popped up on my radar, what's the deal with this guy?

I can't for the life of me remember any thread popping up once with his bald head in it.

Considering I've had off-kilter people show up at my work just to complain about something which someone else wrote on another forum, I think I could work out a ball park number.

What a wanker. It would be good to do a full on investigation on this guy to see just how full of BS he is

As a physician, I can tell you that:
- there is no such thing as a "borderline heart attack" any more than there is "borderline pregnant"
-"convulsion" and "seizures" are the same thing
-"hypothyroidism" and "anatomical thermostat destroyed" are the same thing
-"Agony," "extreme neurological pain," and "permanent nerve damage" can all refer to the same thing (you didn't need me to tell you that, though)
-I've never heard of hypothyroidism referred to as "the silent assassin," and a google search of those terms gave his site as the only relevant result

Listen I now the guy a survivalist freak when I was in the Army. Hey just after I went to S.E.R.E school he was a total nut. And not in a survival sense he states he has many different degrees that meant nothing. He has no military experience at all and all we did was seminars in a classroom.

If you consider 175 grunts in a hall knowing him . The guy I now was from California not Wyoming and this guy was a master of everything from Sambo to Krav Maga . And every other combat circumstance . A Walter Mitty type you could do it all out of your standard field hand book. Your in the Military you now what's in their. Very basic just enough to cover his ass.

I don't now the standards of Bullshido if their was a template of sorts I could rate him.

I'll say this in comparission he's the Ashida Kim of Survival. The real guys in survival are teaching Seal's and Rangers, and Force Recon , let's not forget Combat Controller and Para Rescueman of the Air Force and let's not forget the Fly-Boy's that half to go threw it.

ok.. this is what his website says he can train you to survive a dog attack? I would love to see this. I have seen two hundred pound cops during shutzhund, and I am pretty sure my 85 lbs bully would shred any man alive. I don't see how this is possible.
