Fedor Emelianenko and Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva Square off!


This picture features Fedor Emelianenko on the left, a fear Russian fighter with an astounding record of 26-1-1 in MMA. With the absolvtion of Pride FC, the UFC had courted his service were not able to reach an accord. He has been since signed to Russian promotion M-1. Fedor held the Pride FC heavyweight belt for over three years. Internet rumours had said he was fighting on Dec. 31st in Japan, but M-1 CEO Monte Cox had denied those rumours, saying there were no set plans at this time for the man known as Fedor to fight.

Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva hails from the famed Chute Boxe academy in Curitiba, Brazil. He has a 31-7-1 record in Mixed Martial Arts and is known his as a fearsome come-forward striker. He held the Pride Fighting Championships Light-Heavyweight belt for many years and is set to face ex-UFC light-heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell on December 29th.

These men have both faced top competition many times and are now facing.....um.....something.
