Street grappling is not as easy as it sounds. Your average street has a low center of gravity and AMAZING base.
That video made me throw up in my mouth a little.
*BLURP* gah, there it is again.

"Women enter brutal cage fighting" should have read "responsible sane adults fight under a reasonable ruleset with their consent" but hey, people can't be correct ALL the time...

What's up with them saying that "women havent beenable to enter the professional ranks as of yet"
There are pro female fights all the fuckin time. Some of them even pay pretty decently. I got offered 3K for a fight last year, that's pretty damn good for non-top level MMA pay check.

In fact, I'm fairly sure I saw a female MMA fight on tv the other day...
Or those were some hot dudes... no homo.

Because they have no clue what the **** their talking about. Right after saying that there were no professional fighters, they mentioned how much she had made on her last fight.
Just because you're not in the UFC, doesn't mean you're not pro.

Win. +100 internets.
LOL
It was also funny how they compared her purse with Chuck Liddells as evidence of professional female fighters getting paid less than men... Even if it's true, that's not exactly an honest comparison... I really hate the media...

As much as the UFC likes to package themselves as the only game in town...they are not...the sport is not called "ultimate fighting".
Besides, I've been offered purses not far down from what my old instructor made for his UFC debut.
