Ahem, **** YOU.
Yes, teachers get some good benefits, yes teachers get a lot of break time when the students are out. But they ALSO shell out a ton of their salary in class room supplies. My fiance is a high school teacher, she buys around 100$+ a month of materials for the class, no reimbursment. She also spends MANY MANY hours outside of school grading papers, writing up curriculum, preparing projects, writing tests and a myriad of other job related activites. And as a bonus she gets to put up with a classroom full of whiny undisciplined little morons. The kids don't want to be there, by the time they get to high school most of them are fucked already. She spends most of her BIOLOGY class time trying to teach the little fuckers BASIC MATH. They can't convert from meters to kilometers or grams to milligrams. And this is the damn honors class. Any job is a lazy mans job if you are willing to do a piss poor job of it. So if you are approaching teaching with that mindset I beg you not to become a teacher you useless ****. The last thing we need is more slackers passing kids that can't read just to get them out of the class.
This is all true, especially that last bit, but I'm pretty sure you are flaming a high school student.
