If someone is actually a racist/bigot/whatever, it's not intellectual cowardice if they don't post such opinions on a public forum. Last time I checked, racism and bigotry were not intellectually debatable. If they were, this could be the issue. However, it is not.

A 16yo racist/bigot would be using his head if he DIDN'T post such things on a public forum or board. Who knows what this kid may end up doing in the future? What if he ends up running for public office, or any job that there is contention for? What if someone does a background check and found this thread and construed his posts as being racist? He's screwed, regardless of his initial intentions. Maybe he was playing devil's advocate, or just throwing some stuff out their for the sake of argument. It doesn't matter.

I simply said that he should be careful, because his post could easily be interpreted as racist and smacking of social darwinism/manifest destiny jargon. I don't know who the kid is. I give him the benefit of the doubt, however, & tell him to be careful when posting on such subjects. Maybe he is racist, I don't know. I do know that most 16yo's will change their mind about many things by the time they're 30. No one wants to get screwed for something they said in the past that may have been simply not well thought out.

And for some reason, you posted a link to a study "proving" whites are on average 15% smarter than blacks. For what reason, I don't know, but coupled with your proposal to cater education opportunities to the smarter students, I suppose you are saying that you want your tax dollars to go to white kids over black kids, since the white kids being more intelligent overall need more money to cater to their greater I.Q.s, while the black kids can be left behind, being genetically inferior (intellectually, that is, as per your posted link).
