Everybody is talking about how level headed the fighters seem this season- did you not catch the preview for the next episode, where they watch UFC and go fucking crazy destroying the house?

First, please, learn to quote correctly.

Democracies didn't crush USSR, that country mostly collapsed on its own. Leftist parties in western countries have become more moderate as times change and radicalism went out of fashion after USSR went away. Nobody has beaten socialism or communism. The ideologies are still there, they just aren't as appealing as they used to be and they've lost most of their support, that's what's happened.

As for Imperial Japan.. That's a country. Fighting a country is fucking easy. That's what mankind has been doing since the dawn of time. The allies beat the Nazies. Kicked their asses royally, tried and hung a big number of their commanders. Still, nazism exists in some form in every western country and elsewhere too. So, Nazis themselves were beaten down, but the ideology still lives.

Try to do that to an ideology that has a foothold in pretty much every country in the world by now. Flexing your world domination powers and attacking countries with flimsy excuses isn't the way to make people who don't like you to begin with your friends. That kind of actions play into your opponents hands and give them more support than before. So US 1 - 0 Iraq, but US 0 - 10 radical muslims, thanks to the power vacuum you created.

And it's not just what you do. Israel vs. Lebanon (Hezbollah, really) was won by Israel in the short term. In the long run however they managed to turn pretty much the whole country of Lebanon to side with Hizbollah when previously they were despised by the majority of the population. So more power to Hezbollah, even though they lost against Israel this time.

Need I really go on? You are talking about killing people. I'm talking about basically killing ideologies by making them irrelevant and unappealing. Killing people does not kill ideologies. Killing people tends to make people angry towards you and give more credibility and power to the guys you are trying to off. Killing people solves problems only if done in a massive scale radical muslims or nazies and all those nice people would want to do. Kill everyone. Pogrom and genocide FTW! (i've heard similar ideas thrown about by fundamentalist christians too. loonies are everywhere, eh?)

How to make ideologies go out of fashion and effectively kill them? I don't know that. But I know I wasn't talking about being nice to them and having lovely tea parties in where everyone gets to talk about their grudges openly in an encouraging environment. It's got everything to do with propaganda, hard education and so forth. Both gentle and underhanded tactics have to be used, I'm sure.

EDIT: Let's get back on topic once again. Since Hughes declared himself a queen what do you think, will he fight Serra wearing a tutu, fancy dress or fishnet stockings?

Stop shitting up the thread. Take that to sociocide.

That was sickening. As of right now I have more respect for Gabe "MOAR ICE CREAM CAKE" Rudiger than I do for Joe. He let his friend down, he let his team down, and he let himself down...and it was all on national TV. I understand he is opening up his own BJJ school...yeah good luck with that *****. "Oh, let me go to Joey's school so I can learn how to act like a bitch and quit at the first sign of adversity. Lesson 1:How to stuff your head right into a triangle choke."

Is he still working with Serra?

Vince Tortelli

Nope, he's trying to run his own school now. Boy, I wonder ifthe fact that hundreds of potential customers saw him make a gallant running at winning ****** ***** OF THE YEAR will make it hard for him to attract business?

He has not been back to the academy since he left for the show. I saw him while cross-training at my friends Judo club (which is also run by a Serra student) and he seemed in good spirits. I do not know much, as I am just a student there, and am not involved in such things.

What the hell though, i mean what the hell?

YOu have any idea how much, with my completely pathetic skills would i love to be in his place? Im sure it's boring but....

Well look at Ross Poiten(wrong spelling) sure the guy had a bad record and wasn't the best fighter. But he stepped up, he fought hard, and never bitched out. People make fun of him here and ther, but not like this, and not in a humiliating manner.

I mean what the hell?

Agree with AAAhmed 100%. That guy pissed away ever being involved with the UFC or a Zuffa affiliate, plus I doubt people will be queing up to attend seminars or camps he's hosting. Not to mention he lost his job and one of his best friends. Thinking about him blowing an oppurtunity like that when there are so many other people out there who would crawl naked over broken glass and rusty nails to be on that show...

No matter how crappy the environment was in the house, how boring....

Most house guys seemed to like him alot, Danzing was being a good friend, and the others. No one in the house was bashing him. He could, for all we know, had another shot at fighting or atleast do what Matt Hamil and Kalib starnes did, they got more fights didn't they?

FUCKING FINALLY. God damn, it was really bugging me that TUF was starting to remind me of when my mom watches Dr. Phil: "But I just don't feel loved, Dr. Phil. I don't feel beautiful and special."

Also, I was actually impressed with Hughes a little. He saw a problem that some of his guys were having, namely being away from family and kids, and he brought it up, dealt with it, shared a little, and pulled the team together around each other. Good job.

Yeah, your mom (wink wink)

Anyway, Joey is an asshole and a *****, I'm sure everybody who didn't get the shot at being in the house are really piss at him. That was a fucking waste of time

Joey (at least they way he was presented) reminded me of Rain Man, so the only thing that comes to mind at the moment is a line from the movie:
Ten minutes to Wapner. We're definitely locked in this box with no TV.
Anyway, Joey's actions made me wish I had a heavy bag in the house; I take it as further indication that either: 1) the show needs a "heart" coach living in the house, or 2) Zuffa needs to realize they have the leverage on the Spike producers and not let any more unqualified people on the show. I think the viewers would prefer Option 2, but the producers would go for the bonus bullshit melodrama inherent in Option 1.

Perhaps the title should reference the Most Homoerotic Moment I have ever seen on TUF, the one that dethroned Tito's "It's okay for men to cry" speech.
From the Turtle position:
"I don't wanna wrestle, coach."
"We're not wrestling, we're just...doing this."

PS: I nominate Don Frye for heart coach.
