Jeez, I didn't mean looking for a ninja... I meant a ninjutsu school...
I'm interested in learning the taijustsu aspects of it.
Thanks for the Bundy pic, funny enough

Hehehe, no prob dude. Bundy is my favorite character, and my role model in everything relating to male behavior :viking:

But **** dude, I dunno. Plazma may correct be, but AFAIK taijutsu is a very broad term for body movement, so broad that people whorify it and make the most bullshitting bullshit you can think of.

I know of only one guy who claimed to do ninjutsu WHILE being able to break the **** out of people. But then he was also a member of the judo team at the university I went to, did other martial arts and was built like a tank and had no neck (think Manny Gamburyan.)

-- EDIT --

eh.. no. just go away.Dude, maybe he knows something you don't.

Kinda like, imagine you are in the fucking Amazons with a bunch of tribal people. Then, one of them sniffs at the air. Then another one. Then, all the dudes wearing the grass skirts are sniffing the air, and out of the blue, they run the **** out, eyes wide open screaming OOOOGAHLABUGALALA AHMBULABOOBOOLEH OONGHATHAWABUNGA!!!!

Now, if you are sensible, you'll realize that

1- you don't know what the **** is going on, but
2- they know something you don't, and
3- you gotta get the **** out and away as fast as possible just like them.

Built like a tank eh.
I checked out this place recently, and they seem to utilize some practicality into the techniques, such as finger jabs for going up against someone with a motocycle helmet, ect. There are TKD dojos locally, and Judo as well, but the taijutsu seems to catch my interest more.

Explain to me, in simple terms, like you were explaining a kid, WHERE THE **** IS THE PRACTICALITY OF DOING FINGER JABS AT SOMEONE WITH A MOTORCYCLE HELMET?

I'm sorry dude, but just based on that, I can only say Don Santiago is right in the fucking money. Stay away from that and forget this thread ever happened.

why taijitsu exactly.

Well, I suppose that may not have came out like I expected, but oh well. BTW, to me more specific, a strike to the neck would be a considerable weak point, considering.... ah nevermind, I'm not going to type out a long string to explain what I meant. I'll just research other ways, and stay on the thread

why taijitsu exactly.
I saw it somewhere, found it interesting.
I'm not completely devoted to it, I'm looking around to mix a few martial arts. I'm not going to overlook something just cause others don't like it.

He does JUDO, one of the most legitimate martial arts around. It is beyond me why he wants to learn some very questionable hocus pocus style techniques when he should actually know how to slam people on their heads.

Greg, the styles your are asking about are somewhat notorious for all of the bullshit that they would have you believe. As a judoka, you should know better than to think that there are any secret deadly techniques that will magically drop a guy, which is what many ninjitsu folks will try to convince you.
