Can anyone present the rules used in Shootfighting competition according to Bart Vales TM:ed shootfighting in USA?

I have the rules for the swedish franschise... but I am curious how much they have restrained them in comparison with US rules.

Okay here are the rules,
except in special cases;
Legal strikes; open palm to head, all kicks and knees, close fist to body

Legal take downs; all throws are legal, no throwing of opponent on head.

Submissions; no eye gouging, small joint (fingers) manipulation, or groin attacks, everything else is legal including heel hooks.

Illegal techniques; no striking head while on the ground, no striking of downed opponent (yes you can kick off the ground), no knees to top of head, no elbows, no striking against the joint, no groin strikes, no striking of small joints.

amateur; 10 minute round 5 points
1 point deduction if you grab rope
1 point deduction if you are slammed and stunned
1 point deduction if you are stunned and are given an standing count

Pro; 1x15 minute round
points are as above

Championship match;
this has varied in the past so don't ask

Oh, by the way on a side not some of these matches are fixed.

Funny... here in sweden special grappler gloves are used so all strikes to head and body is allowed with close fists. Only round kicks to head is allowed. To body any kick or knee is allowed.

>Legal take downs; all throws are legal, no throwing of opponent on >head.

Same rules in sweden.

>Submissions; no eye gouging, small joint (fingers) manipulation, or >groin attacks, everything else is legal including heel hooks.

In sweden we dont allow heel hooks...

>Illegal techniques; no striking head while on the ground, no >striking of downed opponent (yes you can kick off the ground), no >knees to top of head, no elbows, no striking against the joint, no >groin strikes, no striking of small joints.

As soon as someone touches ground with something else than the feet, its onl grappling in sweden. And a competitor on the gorund may not kick at standing opponent.

In Sweden you either win by submission or knock, refrees stoppage or decision.

Fixed matches...? Boring... since its an all amteur sport in sweden, all matches are honest.
