Hey all,
I'm going to be out in Evansville, IN for a week for work at the end of July. Is there a decent BJJ school/club/whatever that anyone can recommend out there?
BTW-if this is the wrong forum, sorry.

Bruce, the resident BJJ black belt, is extremely skillful, even when compared to other black belts. He and Jeff (A BJJ brown belt), the other owner, both hold dan ranking in Judo, and Jeff teaches Muay Thai, Combat Submission Wrestling, Kali/Escrima Silat, and about a billion other things.
Other than that diamond in the rough, you're not going to find much.

Cool, thanks for the tips. I'm definitely going to try and get in there.

Bruce and jeff are parting ways and the school is moving the first of june.
Yeah, so I read in the email. I was sad to hear about it. I always thought they worked well as a team, but business has to come first, sometimes. The parting seemed amicable though, so hopefully they'll be able to work together again in the future.
Any particular reason you chose to resurrect a year old thread to announce this?

Speaking of thread necromancy,
So I finally got in to check out Bruce's school, as well as doing some no-gi over at Big Bully Martial Arts Center (http://bigbullymac.com/), which is Hook'N'Shoot fighter Scott Henze's place. Both schools were really awesome, and the people were great. You can definitely see that wrestling is huge out there, as it seems like everyone I trained with had a great base and was super quick and explosive. All in all, I had a great time, and I'll be going back to both of them the next time I'm out that way.
Thanks for the suggestions, Cassius. Feel free to hit me up if you ever make it to Seattle.
