Fights were good but it was hard to detract from Goldberg and Glazer and there asinine comments and complete lack of technicial knowledge of the sport.

There was alot of instances where the 2 agreed on a stupid comment or a technique description that was so far from what it was it was aggravating.

Say what you want about Rogan at least he knows the difference between a body triangle and a half guard. Then the RNC talking about how it cuts off airflow and that its better to just get knocked out instead. It was working what little nerves I have left.

The fights were good though and whoever trained Fryklund needs to be fired. I dont give a **** how hard you think you can hit you take a striker to the ground and embarress him there. It was idiotic and a borderline work.

The interview with Baroni in the dressing room after the fight was stupid. After the lose leave the guy alone let him lick his wounds (which would be impressive in Baroni's case) and come out the next day and say what happened. Goldberg's "your a warrior" comments was annoying. I know he respects the game but its just too much from him. Take him in the back and blow him next time if you want to show your appriecation.

I just watched the two fights (thanks to those with the vids) and Cung Le is amazing, and the Baroni/Shamrock fight was pretty damn good. Great stuff all around. And Mauro Ranallo is still an idiot.

Carter williams was very dissapointing. I can't believe he thinks he is a GnP fighter. If he would've stood and traded the whole time, he probably would've won.

That was a fantastic event. Count me in as a new Elite XC Strikeforce fan.

Watching Cung Le and Frank Shamrock in action was exciting.

The Shamrock/Baroni fight was excellent and I hope Cung Le thinks that work was convincing enough, nothing to crush your confidence like a total lack of credibility, I mean, sure, he knows he could never legitimately win that fight, but as long someone does, it's alllll good.

Cung Le always fights chumps, he's good, maybe great, but he's no risk taker.

He wasn't even fighting a chump, he was fighting a paid stooge.

Did anyone chance that funny comment on thr RNC by when Frank Shamrock was sinking it in? Went something like...

Commentator: He is getting the " some spanish word " .....which is the "Lion Kill", Can Frank Shamrock kill Baroni......... figuratively OF COURSE!

I just laughed so hard at that.

9/10 for the show.
The Shamrock / Baroni fight was amazing.
Other highlights:
- Baroni perfecting his guido hairdo for the walkout. This was just excellent.
- Frank's 'go to sleep' taunt 1 min into the fight, and then following through with the knockdown (and the actually putting Phil to sleep).
- Frank holding Phil in guard, saying to him, "Have you had enough?" at the end of the first round.
