Rumours are, Mike Tyson may be ready to fight in K-1 vs Bob Sapp or maybe even a PRIDE Fighting event. Hidehikeo Yoshida is totally being under-estimated by everyone in upcoming 4 man middle weight PRIDE event.
Mike tyson challenged Hoost as well, Hoost replied that he would fight under K-1 rules and would not do straight boxing with him because he would lose. The Tyson fight is in the works they are just getting the date and the contracts signed for the fight.

I can't see why Tyson is even considering this.
Maybe he believes this will be quick easy money.
Yeah sure, he is washed up but he still draws more PPV revenue than any other fighter on the planet and can still make $10M per fight in the boxing ring.

"Okay Mr. Mcfu I've got to ask.....what kind of bullshit technique is that one in your sig?" Posted by omega.
Actually Tyson signed with K1 not Pride.
I read this AP article on ESPN.com

If Yoshida wins, I'll **** my pants with joy.
I hope Tyson kills Sapp (in K1 or boxing, there is noo way he wouldn't).
I'm gonna fight, fight, fight, fight, fight and destruct the world.
You're right Choke, Tyson signed with K1. My bad. However, it is possible he could fight under MMA rules. Doubtful, but possible. I'm glad to see that not everyone in the world (except Japan) bashes (no pun intended)Yoshida. If he can take any of the remaining 3 fighters to the ground, they may have problems with him. If Yoshida tries to prove that he can box, he's friggin' history. Any of those guys will lay him out. If Yoshida does what he knows, Judo, he'll win.
I can't wait to see Tyson fight outside of boxing rules, should be very interesting to watch.
As much as I'd rather see Sapp win, having just watched the Hoost fight again (the one where Sapp went down from a body shot)...... well, Bob is in big trouble, cause I'm fairly certain that Tyson punches harder than Hoost.
However, under kickboxing rules, I think Hoost can drop Tyson.
What with Tyson getting into K-1.... hell, if he ends up fighting in Pride we might finally get to see Rickson come back and collect on his open challenge to Iron Mike...... now THAT would be a fun- but probably very short, poor Mike- fight to watch.
Yoshida.... yeah, I think he doesn't get much credit. Gracie lovers everywhere (don't get me wrong, I love and practice BJJ, I'm jsut not blinded by it) hate his guts and in MMA there are a lot of Gracie lovers. I hope for Yoshida's sake he doesn't get funny little dellusions of boxing in his head, what I'd like to see is him just throwing someone square on his head and ending the fight with a TD, that would be classic.
The BJJ folks not only hate Yoshida, they hate Judo in general. Why? Because Judo IS BJJ. I can't tell you how many BJJ people have walked into Judo Dojo's and been suprised that Judo players are practicing all the techniques (arm bars, chokes, pins) that BJJ supposedly invented. This stuff was around in Judo way before BJJ ever claimed it as it's own.
I remember watching the first UFC live and thinking of Royce: "This guy's Judo is really good."
Over time those guys just went crazy in their cultish promotion of BJJ, refusing to admit (for the most part) that they were in essense practising Judo.
That's why some of us are pulling for Yoshida so hard. Judo needs to get it's due.
Yoshida vs Tyson? Now we're talking...

Judo guys rarely do enough ground work to compete with a BJJ Guy.
Sure, they could score IPPON! but without a ref waving flags like a signal man and standing them up they don't cut it.
Whine all you want - just do your damn groundwork and learn to sub. Judo is as Judo does, but if you just train to score the throw thats all you're going to be good at.
<Me> John, what do you know about Zen Buddhism? <John> *smacks me*
<John> I'd have to smack you sometime...
"However, under kickboxing rules, I think Hoost can drop Tyson."
Since I believe Tyson probably doesn't have much experiance with kicks coming towards his head....
That conclusion wasn't so hard.

Sapp has the 'benefit', if you can call it that, of losses to excellent guys like Nog and Cro Cop this early in his career. I mean, if you need a meter to improve your grappling or striking against, and you have a tape of your fight against Nog/Cro Cop, you're pretty well set on your way upwards. Other guys would have to trudge through the ranks to even come close to that level opponent, but Sapp's already fought them and is already learning a lot from the losses. I think those losses do him more good in terms of experience than any time he ever beat the **** out of a tomato can.
