Rudy is a guy putting up a counter and gravestones up on his website. Was using a gif of Anthony losing to show he couldn't fight. He also used the avatar of Anthony's swollen eye as an avatar.

This is the same guy saying MT kicks are wrong and MMA punches are sloppy.


The fact Anthony is letting it go speaks volumes on his character.

Actually, it is factually representing things. Given the bullshit Rudy has spouted it is important to stress that his 25 years failed in the face of 10 months of training. It makes his posting over the last several years hilariously farcical.

I totally understand where you are coming from. What Rudy has done in the past should never be forgotten or forgiven.

The other side of the coin, he did step up, he did throw leather, and he took his loss as a man. For that, he gets my props. A little long in the making, but it got done. It's closure for that question.

We can now all agree that Rudy hasn't been effectively training to fight for the last 25 years. That question is indeed settled. His stepping up really isn't something to be impressed by though, he was supposedly a martial artist and skilled fighter. Agreeing to participate in competitive formats shouldn't be impressive, it should be expected. Rudy did what was expected of him only after constant goading and backing out for a hell of a long time, and trying via shenanigans to get out of this instance too.

One of the problems (that has been raised numerous times about people like Rudy, Clyde, JFS etc) is that fighting ability really isn't the key issue. Being condescending assholes is. The fact that some are and some aren't delusional assholes is a different issue. This is why, on some issues, fighting doesn't solve things.

No one is saying that you should like Rudy but it's not your victory, you didn't train hard loose weight or step up in a full contact fight, Rudy and Anthony did.
