ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE

Believe it or not, I suggested Mishima to Phrost, but Phrost was stuck on this kid.
Oh well.
My favorite part of the Mishima suicide story is that after storming the offices of the JSDF military academy he had the cadets assembled so that he could make his big pro-emperor, nationalist, "quit being a bunch of passivist pussies" speech and that the cadets laughed, cracked jokes, and jeered.
He was trying to inspire a coup to put the emperor back into power and the cadets at Japa's sole military academy fucking heckled him >_<
That had to burn.
If you like the guy you should watch Ghost in The Shell, 2nd GIG. A large part of the plot is devoted to a group founded based on his actions.

hey let's have a poll.
1. YES/NO: rational discourse and democratic methods are inherently better ways of settling disagreements than resorting to violence.
2. YES/NO: lethal force is a regrettable last resort, only to be applied when other less destructive options are no longer available.
3. YES/NO: killing innocent people is wrong.
just curious.
Killing people isn't just wrong, it's badong.
But for the 9029384023.90983th time, this section is not meant to be for profiles of upstanding members of society.

Well if it were a judgement on the subject's morality or heroism, we'd just repost an article about Norman Borlaug every month.
But this isn't "hero of the month".
I don't like her and wish she'd stab herself in the gut with a katana?
*sigh*
Mind telling my why you 'don't like her and wish she'd stab herself in the gut with a katana'?
Hairstyle? Taste in music? Politics?

Proof that Kat hits hard.
Perhaps a little too hard.
Naa, proof that I just don't want to have a debate on my subjective dislike of that particular individual

She's an ugly doo-doo head, sitting in a tree with Hugo, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.I thought that was a pretty good answer. At least in the sense that it made me laugh. I'm not entering this argument though.

y0U startd itt!
P.S. 'subjective' doesn't mean non-debatable
Again, reading into things. Wasn't making a statement on its debatability (is that a word?), just on my willingness to debate it.

Of course I'm reading into things. It's part and parcel of communication, particularly on the internet.
What's important is acknowledging this.
In this case, your mention of 'subjective' seemed to be a justification for your unwillingness to debate it - as if it weren't 'objective' enough to warrant reasonable debate.
If this isn't so, fair enough.
