Much better matchup for Hughes as opposed to another fight against GSP.

I guess it'll be GSP vs. Kos for the winner of this?

I don't mind seeing GSP in a rematch with either of these guys if he can get through Kos.

I'm taking Serra to win. I kind of think GSP may have beaten some of the "fight", and confidence out of Hughes.

It's possible that his loss to GSP has injected into Hughes a renewed discipline and training ethics, and may be sank into his skull that it may be a good idea to come to the octagon with a plan.

I'm going with Serra! He has the confidence and momentum right now, his striking seems better than Hughes' and Serra can handle himself on the ground even if Mughes gets a takedown. Oh and Matt let me hold the belt, so yeah, I'm rooting for him, laugh.

No way. Hughes is going to come in guns blazing, and if he takes the advice so many are throwing out about the net, he's not going to make that mistake and try to stand with Matt, cause Matt throws bombs with reckless abandon, as opposed to a lot of WW's who are quite cautious trying to avoid Hughes' takedowns.

I think it will be a good fight, but mostly end up on the mat one way or another and whoever wins I feel it will go to a decision; just to many equalizing factors between them on the mat...that is of course if Matt (Serra) doesn't lay him out with strikes right off the bat.

I'd think the Miletich camp will be doing an extreme amount of stand-up work considering they lost all their belts due to striking. As you said, the fight is a good matchup, a BJJ master with good striking, versus a wrestler with decent striking. I'm sure most of the Internet UFC "experts" won't give Serra a chance this time either, I think he'll surprise people again.

Can't wait to see this fight, I'm pulling for Serra to beat Hughes ass. Realistically things might be in favor of Hughes, a lot of good points have been made for and against Hughes winning so it's difficult to say who will come out on top in this matchup. I will be picking Serra on my fantasy card though.

"Serra gets Hughes for first defense"

of course...why to you think Hughes was there "laughing it up" ringside. To advertise and sell tickets for the fight. Who will win? Whoever Mr. White says will win...and don't be suprised if Donald Trump has to shave his head if Hughes wins.

Well I really should stop making predictions because I've been wrong nearly every time this entire year :P

upsets create more interest...so does a quick title turn over.

Right after Serra (who I like) won I told MOM34....what do you want to bet Serra will be fighting Hughes next?

Hughes will win this one. I wont be disappointed if Serra wins though. As has been said, maybe Pat will whip Matt H into shape for this one, not to mention, Serra got lucky against GSP. IMO, but what do I know?
