The Sul Sa Do self-defence system comprises hand and foot striking and blocking techniques - which form the core of the Art - accompanied by locking and throwing techniques. Sul Sa Do promotes "natural" movement and provides an effective and efficient self-defence.
The "battlefield" of today can also be aspects of our day to day lives. Sul Sa Do can help by building confidence, perseverance in one's actions and indomitable spirit in one's outlook.

Its just another Hapkido derived art. Nearly all Korean arts are derived from Japanese arts.

Same idea as Kuksoolwon. There are a handful of authentic traditional Korean martial arts. Hapkido and Taekwondo are not amoung them. They are passed down in the temples and from father to son, and are not practiced by the general population. Only a couple temples still practice them, one outside of Gyongju. They are called 'mountain' musul, or 'temple' musul, and look much more like nothern varities of chinese Kung Fu then most Koarean martial arts, which mostly comes from Shotokan Karate and Aikido.
