Taste Rating Scale is 1 (absolute shite) through 10 (tastes like happy)

Taste: 5 (6/7) – I put a 5 on this simply because a lot of people hate how it tastes and a lot love it. So, I figure I’ll give the wildly popular king of energy drinks a median rating. Personally, I have grown accustom to the taste and would probably give it a 6/7. The sugar free drink is obviously not quite as sweet as the original. However, the taste is pretty sharp and slightly sour (think a very mild Sour Patch® kid candy) with a slight apple cider (not apple juice) flavor.

After Taste: 6/7 – A sharp after taste of sour-apple (like a Jolly Rancher® of the same flavor) that disappears fairly quickly.

Effects Rating Scale is 1 (water) through 10 (check in to rehab NOW!)

Energy Boost: 6 – A bit of a tweak; similar to a couple shots of espresso.

Side Effects/Crash: 5/6 – A bit of a crash due to the amount of caffeine in the small bottle with the sugar version have a bit more of a lethargic feeling. Although, its nothing terrible or unexpected.

I like Redbull because it's one of the better tasting energy drinks. My only gripe with it is that Redbull is expensive for how much and what you get. You're really only paying for the taste and mostly the ad campaigns
