I have a friend coming in town to train the 16th and 17th; he gets some training currently, but wants to expand his violence repitoire. It would be fucking spot on if we could have a Throwdown while he is in town on the 17th, to support his consensual violence needs. Due to recent complications with GA Tech, we need a new venue (I am looking at you Villian). What say you?

I don't want to make promises that I might not be able to keep but it sounds good to me.

BAM would definitely be a few steps up from GA Tech.

Ga Tech is good except for the campus cops, and the carpet.

And the lack of ring. And the carpet. No, it's really not good at all.

Isn't the 17th on a Saturday? I doubt I could do a throwdown after a Jacare'/ Traven Saturday workout. Call me a wuss.

Sandy Springs? That's where me and Kat train, currently though we haven't done the BJJ classes.

Ya'll are missing out. I saw ya'll occasionally when we were at the old place. Me and the rest of "team Athens" will probably be there this Sat.

Yea, I guess your right, but it beats training outside in the grass, right?

So is anything a go yet for this TD for sure?

Oh and by the way, it is going to be a while before we actually get it going, but my cousin, a few friends and I, that all work and make good money, and still have time to train got to talking. We decided that we are going to look into how much it would cost to lease a office space in a buosness park or somthing like that near Atlanta, and then throw some mats in there, some bags and ****, this way we always have a place to get together and have TD's we have found a few places, there ony like 800 per month for 3000 sq ft, which seems like plenty of room, of course we would have to charge everyone who came like 5 to 10 dollars at the door, but at least it would be a reliable place to train, and with there being about 8 of us who plan on doing it, with the rent cost water and electricity, it would only run us each like 200$ a month, so we're pretty set on trying to make it work. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions as to why this would be a bad idea, or should we just go for it?

Well, calendars are apparently confusing. The original intention was to have him join me at class on Saturday and then do a Throwdown Sunday. To be honest, either day is fine with me.
