I spend about 9 hours a week practicing taekwondo (that includes 1 hour sparring class and 2 hours of teaching the kids class). Our taekwondo class breaks down into warm-ups, basics (punching kicking and forms), ho sin sul (self-defense), 1,2,3 step sparring and light no contact free sparring. The sparring class is WTF sparring style. I spend 3 hours in kumdo class. Kumdo class does quick warm-ups, basic striking and foot work, basic cutting, forms and sparring (full contact with armor).

Kumdo is the same as Kendo. It is asian fencing. The main difference are the forms that we do. The sparring aspect is pretty much the same.

Not lately, although I'm trying to change that.
We just moved from Cali to KC MO, and the movers stiffed us for $4000. Ugh.

Do any of you work and/or have wives? I work full time and have a wife. There's no way I could train 2-4 hours a day unless I gave up sleep. :) I think you have to be single in order to do NHB/Grappling (I'm being serious). The amount of time you have to spend doing it is greater than the average married guy can put in. Note, I said average. Obviously, if your wife is obsessed as many of us are then you'll be able to train with her. My wife doesn't train, so I usually fit my training in when she's not around or when she's asleep or jogging.
Sigh, to be single. :) But then again, being married is pretty damn cool too!

Yup, that's how it was when I was in college too. I had 2-3 hours a day to train. Sigh, I miss those days. You should become a professor.

I lift 4 days a week, stretch 5-6 days a week, go over techniques 5-6 days a week, run 2-3 miles 5 days a week, spar 3 days a week. Rest on Sundays.
I have a wife and baby, but then again I'm owner of the gym so kudos to me (wipe that jealous look off your face)

Phrost why did you move to Missouri? I lived there most of my life. I don't see why anyone would want to move there : ) I've been to Cali and it's nice. In missouri there's nothing, other than maybe Branson, or Worlds/ Oceans of Fun. But anyway, I train whenever I feel like it. I go to classes usually 2 days a week. I'd go more but classes are expensive. I usually stretch out some before class. Then usually we do a defense/offense drill where me and a partner take turns throwing punches at each other and we have to parry, shield, or evade them in someway. Then we move to whatever our instrctor wants us to work on. Last class we worked on using the shield to slam into someone to get them off balance and punch them. Then after my class I help out my instrctor with a class, over see sparing and the drills, and participate in them too.
Moved to MO because I didn't want to pay half a million dollars for a 3 bedroom house in a decent neighborhood when I could get a 5 bedroom house in the snotty part of town for half the price.
Plus, there are a few good crosstraining schools out here, and we have a Gracie JJ Blackbelt BJJ school in town as well.
We've got kids, so living where we were, 20 miles south of Oakland wasn't an option, and our company allows us to telecommute so we decided to move out to a town where the median household income is less than half of what I make by myself.
Right now I'm waiting til payday and then going to try to work out a 6-day a week BJJ/MT training schedule. I was even thinking of taking a day of TKD a week from a local McDojo just to see how fast I could get my black belt if I pestered the instructor.
Hey Branson sucks also, I use to live there. Right now I go to school up in Springfield.
Hey Phrost, you going to go to the Pankration tournament in at the KC Renisaunce festival?
